Host Major AI Training Initiative for European Business Educators
Lithuania’s capital is preparing to welcome experts from across Europe for a groundbreaking AI training program. The three-day Train-the-Trainer seminar, scheduled for September 23-25 2025 in Vilnius, marks a significant milestone in the EU-funded AI for SMEs project.
The event, hosted by the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, will bring together vocational education trainers and business consultants from different European countries. The intensive program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to support small and medium-sized enterprises in implementing AI solutions.
„This training represents a crucial step in bridging the AI knowledge gap in the SME sector,“ says Audronė Masandukaitė from the Vilnius Chamber. „Our goal is to create a network of qualified trainers who can help local businesses navigate the AI landscape.“
The program will cover practical applications of AI in various business areas, from customer service to process optimization, based on the recently published AI for SMEs implementation concept. Participants will receive hands-on training in using the project’s educational materials, including the ten specialized factsheets developed for different business applications.
The seminar is expected to train professionals who will then disseminate this knowledge via vocational further trainings to SMEs in their respective regions, creating a multiplier effect across Europe.
